Makli Tombs, Thatta, Sindh
The sun sets over the Makli Tombs, a fine example of burial architecture. Spread over an area of eight square kilometres, the Tombs are one of the largest necropolises in the world. Legend has it that in addition to the tombs of kings and princes, they are also the final resting place of 125,000 Sufi saints.
